Join author and illustrator Rose Robbins for a special reading of her book “Loud!” and a creative workshop to create your own album cover! Children will be able to draw, colour or use simple stamps to make unique designs for either imagined or real life musicians.

About the Artists & Speakers
Rose Robbins is a Children’s Book author and illustrator based in London, who focuses on topics around disability, relationships and communication. She is known for featuring and celebrating differences in her work, taking inspiration from her own life experiences as both a young carer and a late-diagnosed autistic person. Rose is a qualified teacher with specialism in Art and SEND, and is also an alumni of the Cambridge School of Art MA in Children’s Books. Her book “Me and My Sister” was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s book prize in 2019, and her book “Talking is Not My Thing” was selected for the 2021 IBBY collection of outstanding books for young people with disabilities.
Rose is a passionate advocate for promoting inclusion in children’s literature, regularly talking and writing on the subject for organisation and events, including the British Library, Inclusive Minds, the Youth Libraries Group, Booktrust and Seven Stories.
