About the Artists & Speakers
Rikin Parekh hails from NW London and attended the University of Westminster, studying Illustration. After graduating he worked part-time in retail while freelancing in the Film/TV industry as a Storyboard Artist and sometimes Creature Designer. He then worked at Borders as a Bookseller, falling in love with books even more. Since then he has worked in publishing, illustrating, working at an online streaming company, and then for the last ten years working as a Primary School Teaching assistant whilst illustrating and caring for his disabled mum. He loves Spider-Man comic books and films and eating lots of pizza.
