About the Artists & Speakers
Patrice Lawrence is a writer for children and young adults. She has won many awards including the Waterstones Prize for Older Children's Fiction, the Bookseller YA Prize, the Little Rebels Award, the Jhalak children's award and the Crimefest YA award (twice). She was born in Brighton, lives on the south coast of England and wishes she could swim.
