Join us at Carnegie Library for a film-sharing, watching The Story Detectives Playful and Particular journeying around the library, collecting letters, solving clues, and building an adventure story. Followed by a short dance workshop, led by award-winning choreographer Katie Green.
Katie Green is a choreographer and dance teacher who focuses her practice working with dance in museums, heritage sites and other extraordinary spaces such as libraries, galleries and outdoor spaces. Her recent projects with her company Made By Katie Green include touring the live version of 'The Story Detectives' to 19 libraries; making 3 short films as part of 'A Gathering Place' - a new choreography and archaeology collaboration; creating a new piece commemorating the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower to America and touring her promenade work 'Beneath Our Feet' to caves and underground spaces across the country.
