About the Artists & Speakers
Lui Sit is an award -winning author of children’s books, adult short fiction, and nonfiction. Her children’s contemporary adventure book– Land of the Last Wildcat – was Waterstones Children’s May 2025 Book of the Month and was shortlisted for the Wainwright Prize. She is also the author of The Lucky House Detective Agency, a cosy crime children’s book which she writes as Scarlett Li. She was born in Hong Kong, grew up in Australia and now lives in London with her family and moody cat. She is happiest in the sea, a forest or a library
