Fatima Ordinola - Our Love for Reception, Yr 1 & 2

Fátima Ordinola is a Peruvian graphic designer and illustrator based in Cambridge. Her passion for books and illustration brought her to the UK to study at the Cambridge School of Art for an MA Children’s Book Illustration.Fátima uses traditional materials such as chalk pastels, pencils, ink, watercolour and collage for illustrations. Nature and everyday life are a constant inspiration for her work. She grew up surrounded by encyclopaedias, dictionaries, and children’s books without knowing that illustrating them would be her dream job one day. Playing with text and image without worrying too much about the outcome is one of her favourite activities.Fátima is the creator of two picture books, Our Love and Our Dreams and a lift-the-flap board book, Where is Bear?.
