About the Artists & Speakers
Eva Wong Nava was born on a tropical island in the Southern Seas, where a merlion guards its inhabitants from marauding pirates. She has lived here, there and almost everywhere but calls Londinium home, where she lives with a goat, tiger and dog. Eva eats this, that and mostly everything, but her favourite food is still dumplings. When not writing for children, she can be found in art galleries and museums looking for story inspirations amongst the artworks, or making delicious dancing dumplings with her family.
Natelle is a Malaysian-born illustrator who grew up in New Zealand, and now lives in leafy Southeast England with her husband and their rescue cat, Patch. Natelle currently works with a growing list of clients, focusing on children’s illustration, in particular picture books (including Dance Just Like So! written by Annemarie Anang, One Day At A Time, written by Rachel Ip), and young fiction…
