Create fun characters and comics with Sam Davies, creator of the Hexvet series, and Gary Northfield, creator of Derek The Sheep, Lovely Pirates, Julius Zebra. Following this workshop join us for a Comic Celebration Gathering at 2.30pm at Station Hall.

About the Artists & Speakers
Thiago de Moraes creates all sorts of comics and books, like the Age of Stone series in the Phoenix Comic, mythical adventures like Old Gods New Tricks and non-fiction titles such as Myth Atlas. He spends all his time writing and drawing in a tiny shed at the back of his garden.

James Turner is a cartoonist, mathematician, and programmer from London, and his comic, Star Cat, won the Best Young Person's Comic in the British Comic Awards. When not drawing comics, James enjoys board games, cooking, and making explosion noises with his mouth.
Sam Davies is a comics artist creating the magical creatures in peril story 'Tooth and Claw' for the Pheonix comic and the creator of the Hexvet series for Boom Studios. She also creates all ages comics online under the name 'Stutterhug' and a collection of her silent animal comics is available now from Hiveworks.
