Join Neill Cameron, creator of Mega Robo Bros and Donut Squad, and Tor Freeman, creator of Boss of the Underworld and Grandma Toad, for an event of cartooning and character-creating fun! Following this workshop stay on for a Big Comics Celebration Gathering at 3pm with Thiago De Moraes joining.

About the Artists & Speakers

Neill Cameron is a cartoonist and writer, and creator of the award-winning Mega Robo Bros series and How to Make Awesome Comics. He is also the author/illustrator of the popular middle-grade novels Freddy vs School, Freddy and the New Kid and Freddy the Superstar. Neill also runs regular comic workshops for children at The Story Museum in Oxford.

Tor Freeman is an author and illustrator of picture and chapter books and has been published in the UK and worldwide during her 20+ year career. She is a regular contributor to magazines including Tralalire, Pomme d'Api and POLLE and has had two ongoing strips in the weekly story comic, The Phoenix. In 2012 she was awarded a Sendak Fellowship, and in November 2017 she was the winner of the Observer/Cape/Comica graphic short story prize.

 

Her books include the Digby Dog Delivers series, The Toucan Brothers and The Book that No One Wanted to Read…
