About the Artists & Speakers
Chitra Soundar is an internationally published, award-winning author of children’s books, screenwriter and an oral storyteller. She has published over twenty picture books worldwide and also writes chapter books, poetry, audio stories and theatre for kids. Her books have been nominated and shortlisted for multiple awards in the UK and US including the Kate Greenaway Medal for Illustration, Surrey Children’s Book Award and Inclusive Book Awards. She loves visiting schools, libraries and festivals with her books and stories.
