About the Artists & Speakers
Alice Hemming is the author of over sixty books for children, including the #1 New York Times bestselling picture book The Leaf Thief. Illustrated by Nicola Slater and published by Scholastic, it has sold across the world and expanded into a popular series, including the spring title The Flower Thief (previously That’s MY Flower).
Alice lives in Hertford, just north of London, with her husband and two children. She works in a writing shed at the top of her garden but loves getting out and about to meet her readers.
